LE GASP!!

Yes. I am alive. The other day I took a gander my page on DA and realized I have neglected this sooooo badly. For like....four to six years now. lol

I don’t really have the best excuse to have disappeared from here except you can probably blame the whole ‘being an adult’ thing. But no, the job I went into as soon as I left college didn’t exactly give a breather to sit down and do...anything on here much. Then it became a toxic environment that I was in denial until someone did something that I had to draw the line on. Enough was enough. So I left without saying shit (except for my boss) and uh....lemme just say the lockdown actually helped me in my favor cause as soon as it was okay to go back to work, I started my new job then. And seeing I’m still in a, shall we say, not so good emotional state still from personal reasons...I figured I could eventually jump back into this groove again as a therapeutic mechanism for myself. With that being said, I’m going to lay it on y’all of what’s going to happen...

So this is probably the big thing I wanted to discuss. I am redoing it. I am redoing this cringe fest of horse manure. I’m not going to take it down though, no no. It’s going to stay cause....I dunno, nostalgia and all that. Now here is the REAL big thing....when I say I’m redoing it, I mean redoing the title, plot, my OCs, etc. Hope you guys didn’t get to comfy with who I had cause I’m putting them on a shelf for now. Of course this is still a Random Doom fanfic, I’m just giving everything else a much needed makeover. I hope the creator doesn’t mind that I do this still....? Haha

Now then.....I am thinking that this will take place BEFORE the final chapter of the Random Doom series. So Morrigan and the other new kids will not be around. And I will NOT be using the Pokémon teams I had in Platinum and HeartGold or the trainer I had created because I feel like the teams (mainly the Platinum one) I had appeared to be mirrored alter egos of the cast and I was worried that people would think I based my team from RD. That is not the case, that was NEVER the case. I chose each Pokémon based on their design itself, and the anime itself. I literally discovered Random Doom right afterwards at the time and it was just a coincidence. My OC teams and trainer are not going anywhere, by the way, they just will not be in the fanfic sadly. Also, no shipping a main cast character with an OC this time, I’m going to be respectful in this makeover. THIS TIME!...it’s a new team from two new regions that are not Johto and Sinnoh (that’s your hint). Still need to work on two more Pokémon on one of the new teams but it’s nothing serious. I will say, only ONE Pokémon of this new team will be the same like the RD cast, just a different gender. That’s all I got to say. *eyebrow wiggle*

I WILL say that I will put up a preview of the fanfic like I did for this CHALLENGE fanfic, possibly before this month is over. That way, you guys can get a grasp of what to expect, who the new faces are, and the description...I will explain as much as I can in there, so please READ that before jumping to conclusions and saying anything in the comments!? It really makes a difference to everyone and the situation itself.

As for drawings...

.....I don’t have a scanner or tablet thingy for digital art. Lmao

So, say if I do post something that is hand drawn, which will be a doodle or an actual colored piece, it will be taken as a photo from my phone or iPad with hopefully good lighting. All of this is because I don’t have money or luxury for that nonsense right now, so this is what we’re gonna do. XD

And that is it. Nothing much. Just wanted to drop by and say I am alive. You can expect the ‘preview’...’teaser’ that I mentioned some time this month. That’s my goal right now. Hope y’all are doing well, stay safe, wear a mask, and wash ya damn hands. XOXO
